Dismantling CV Axles?

The tripod bearing part, how do you get that off the axle? The axle is peened over on the end to retain it, is it just a matter of putting it all on a big enough press or are the peened over bits supposed to be ground off first? Or?

I don't have a 280ZX manual, mine is a S30 which is being converted to CV half shafts. Thanks for any assistance

Problem solved, the S12 has similar CV's and the manual for it says to simply press the tripods/spiders off the axle.
