Ebay Intake

Has any one ever tried an intake from Ebay, some are only $15. It says 280zx non turbo but I don't see why it wouldn't fit a turbo. Before I brought my car to the body shop I measured the intake and I remember it being 3", and the kit says it comes with 3" mandrel bent tube. If any one has any idea on this that would be awesome. Thanks, Rob

If you're talking about a K&N filter with intake tube, then it says non-turbo because of the bends in the pipe and location. It is made to come off the front of the non-turbo AFM and out in front of the radiator. The turbo engines have the AFM right in front of the turbo. Your intake pip would have to be extended straight out to the K&N filter. You should just get a straight pipe and filter to pop on the end of your AFM. That'll work. Paint it or have it chromed if you want.

Take a look at the pictures of some non-turbo engines (if you're not already familar with them) to get an idea of how they are different than yours.

Thanks, I wasn't sure and just figured I would ask, plus I don't have my car here right now to compare it to.
