I think that you would have better luck by switching to a 4bbl carb setup as opposed to the triple carbs. You get the same amount of gas/air with the 4bbl and it's easier to tune, as opposed to synchronizing 3 single barrels. My uncle had a triple SU carb setup on his Jaguar E-Type, and he was always messing with it. I believe that Clifford sells the manifold, and any square bore 4bbl will work on it.
