I've got a 78' 280z (shot Enginge) and have a 81 280zx engine available. Do you guys know how compatible athe 81 engine would be with the 78 car? I am trying to figure out cars and not doing so well.

First off. J. tell her, if it's not girly enough. paint it pink. and secound. Jakatu. It's almost just a simple swap. And i think the 78's had dished, so i think you will like the new flat top's. And i would go ahead and do the whole ECU swap from you 81. Better electronics. I am doing this swap right now as we speak. 76 N42 - 81 F54 and computer swaps also.
