Exhaust Options.

Ok, I had some time to look at my exhaust, and I feel it needs a complete replacement. I found that it has a leak where the manifold meets the pipe. I also have found that the muffler and pipe are missing from just after the catalytic convertor.

So I was wanting to know if most people just buy a exhaust kit off line or if they just go to the exhaust shop to get one installed. Also what size pipe is everyone going with.

Go to an exhaust shop. And 2.5". If you call around, you should probably be able to find someone who will do it for ~$200 to $300.

That is exactly what I was thinking, I just was not sure about the size of the pipe to use. I have a 1963 Dodge Dart, with a slant 6 but it is only recommended to use 2 1/4 pipe. But that is a much older engine with a lot older engineering. Thanks again, I have a guy in mind here in my town that has good prices.
