Fuel problem
Hi all. I'm new here
I've been slowly trying to bring my Z back to life. I've gotten everything back together and I tried starting it and.. nothing. I have spark and compression. But my injectors won't fire. Fuel is getting there, but for some reason they won't fire. So, I consulted my 280zx book and it had a number of different tests for EFI components and everything that could keep them from firing. Everything pretty much checked out except the ignition module on the distributor. Could that keep the injectors from firing? If not, does anybody have a suggestion as to what could be wrong?

the igniton modual can stop the car from running... but its a pretty expensive part to buy new... id try to hit up your lovcal junk yard to see if you can foind one out there... check to see if your getting current to your injectors as well... check all your connections to see if theyre all tight...

Yea i'm gonna try to find it at a junkyard. I haven't seen many Z's in junkyards around here though but i'll give it a shot. Do you know how much those things cost to get a new one? I've heard it costs about 100 bucks but I'm not sure. So, will this thing keep the injectors from firing? Because that's my main problem right now. If I can get those to work, the car should start (knock on wood).
