fuel system
hey guys the other day i was changeing spark plugs and upon inspection i came to the conclusion that i was running too lean.... now, im no expert but from evrything ive read, running lean can be harmful to your motor, especially if youve got plans to trick it out... what i need to know is this... how can i make ithe air/fuel mixture a little fatter without replacing my injectors... is it possible? or am i gonna have to replace them, if thats what i gotta do, what would you suggest to replace them with so i dont have to replace a wholde bunch of parts to make them work?
i do also plan on replacing the fuel deilvery rail with an aftermarket one that looks a hell of a lot better.... but... as i was, i need some answers... ide appreciat any help

Sounds like somthing is telling it to run lean. I find it hard to believe that all six injectors would be spraying less fuel. However Ive never had a Z run lean, mine have always ran too rich I would check Head temp sensor, unplug O2 sensor, check fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator, Fuel filter, ect

A vaccume leak on the intake manifold or throttle can cause a lean mixture. I also would suggest you find the cure for the problem which is most likely not injectors. If its not a leak or bad sensor, then check your fuel pressure. The fuel pressure regulator can go bad and either run too lean or too rich.
