I've also heard that the Pace Setter headers are prone to warpage and leaking (not that my Clifford header is any better lol)

I personally would just get a 2.5" custom exhaust that deletes the catalytic as well.

The header doesn't really gain much power, if any at all. If I were you, I would only get it if you want the car to be louder/ sound higher pitched/ more raspy

what should i get then for a catback?...i want it to sound nice and not like a tincan when i let off the throttle.

what if i just removed the cat, and kept the stock muffler? would it sound like **** or decent?

let me know what you guys are thinkin, thanks!!

Personally Id get a header with 2.5 in pipe, a resonator, and then a muffler.

I ran a header/2.5/muffler on my N/A car for a long time and it was too loud, you couldnt talk to someone in the car without yelling and forget about the phone lol. so with a resonator and being on a ZX it should be a nice vol and sound (sound will very some depending on your muffler choice)

alrite thanks for the replys. i think what im going to do first is play around with the stock exhaust and how that goes. il probly end up getting some sort of muffler since mine is very weak and has some holes in the bottom of it.

Just so ya know, there won't be much of a gain just putting a muffler on the stock exhaust

I'm using the header and the turbo exhaust from thezstore.com and it ain't that loud. My only complaint is the collector on the header is way too small. It's about a 2 inch. If I were you I'd get that muffler but make a custom collector that brings it to 2 1/2 and it would probably be considerably louder but you would get better flow. I go by the louder the better rule. I'm thinkin of changing out the turbo muffler with a flowmaster super 44. Haven't made up my mind yet though.
