gauge cluster ?'s

On my 81 280zx the main gauge cluster seems to have the plug that goes in the secondary cluster w/ the oil, volts, and clock but the plug does not reach. Just wondering if there is a extention i may need. the cover on the wires for the plug is yellow. hopefully i worded this well enough so somebody knows what i'am talking about.

The main cluster and 3-pod cluster do not connect directly to each other.

the main cluster has a larger round plug with a circle of pins and the speedometer cable.

The 3-pod cluster connects to a wiring harness off to the right side behind the glovebox.
