Headlights and parking lights...help

Hey, I am new here. I have a 1981 280zx 2+2. The headlights and the parking lights have gone out. I have brake lights and turn signals though. Do you have any idea why this may be? I have checked the fuses but still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't drive at night or in bad weather which we are supposed to have 3 or 4 days of coming up this week. Thanks.

Mine still does that intermittenly. I'm pretty sure mine is a weak connection around the steering column. When I hit the steering cover from underneath, sometimes the lights come back on. Could be the switch itself too.

Thanks for the info, will try and see if I can get these things to work. Thanks again, by the way do you know if after the relays there is a headlight sensor, at least thats what the book said. You ever had any trouble with them?
