heat
I am wondering... if it is a hot day (80-100 degrees) is it typical for the temp gauge to read at about the 3/4 area when the car is warmed up and for the aux. cooling fan over the valve cover to run for 5-10 minutes after the car is shut off?
Thanks,

thats running a lil hot if you ask me.. it shouldnt go more then half way.. you might need a new fan clutch.. your fan might not be spinning at the right RPM to cool off your radiator or it could also be your thermostat.. if your thermostat is bad its not opening up soon enough and it can cause your car to over heat.. your inteake manifold fan staying on after your car is off is normal.. its just trying to cool off your manifold.. problay because your car is running a lil too hot...

Thanks -
I actually replaced my fan clutch with two electric fans, so this is the first time I've really run it since doing that. I might have to try putting the shroud back on or something, it just seems to have trouble pushing the air out of that long hood at highway speeds. Works great otherwise...
