does anybody here know if the ignitor for the 1984 300 zx turbo and the 1983 280 zx turbo are the same ?

 

I can answer this in one way as I do not know the answer to your question...I often goto http://www.partsamerica.com/ and put in my make and model of car, find the part I am looking for and write down the model number of said part. Then, I start over with the other car and look for the same part and see if it is the same part number...crude but it works. I know this because on my 1992 3.1L Camaro, the EGR is the exact same one GM uses on their 3.4L V6 from 1994 (different engine and body style) this site also has a button that will show you what other vehicles the part fits. Give it a shot.

The answer is: they are different, and unless you are using a Z31 ecu it's very complicated to make it work.

 

Hehe, you can swing by my apt and let me take a look at it and i can probably tell ya . j/k......I wouldn't think they'd be the same.....
