still lost me. So i should cjeck for voltage ont eh grounds? is that what your saying? Also i went thought the entire ECU wire harness. and not one damaged wire to be found. Just to ask. What are all the things that can stop the fireing of injector's? A simple list would be perfect. and i can use it to go over everything again. And Poo. I don't think there are too many ppl here that understand you.

a voltage reading between two grounding points would be a voltage drop. And yes, a high voltage drop would indicate a bad connection.

1. no power source
2. bad ground
3. bad ECU

A voltage potential between grounding points would be due to one of them lifting.

I go through this diagnosis at least 3 times a day as I am the sole supporter of standard motor products ecu division in the united states.

still not following you there. The closest thing I can think of to what I think you're saying is still a voltage drop (which is the amount of voltage lost/used between two points). I'm not understanding voltage potential. It's as simple as that. If you measure for Volts across the same polarity what you're going to get is a voltage drop. If you measure for volts across different polarities then you're going to get actual voltage.

well, I had a used set of injectors off a running car. (sat 2 years) All six would not fire! Plain as that. I put my other set back in and they worked. That set was from a car that sat maybe 4 years! but they work...
