L-Dub is tha man, and my car runs sweet!

Wade brought me beer and sparkplugs in exchange for Supercar(the famed project car) parts. So Awesome! I finally drove my z, after too long in the garage with brakes, suspension, steering, too much engine work, and new exhaust, Still misses, but i think its just way too rich now, you can hear the exhaust popping back when you let off the throttle now, especially going down hills. Plugs say its lean tho', Im just gonna see if they will smog it with the pipe stopping under the car before the rear end, screw it. I can deal with it more after that. Maybe do the rest of the injectors and a new FPR, get my Big TB and Big AFM too.

Well, Drove the car like twice and lost 1st and 2nd. Pulled the trans out super fast, cuz all the remianing bolts were loose, and one to the block was missing! That was the previous owner, not me. Well get it on the ground to find that in fact I didnt blow it up, a 'E' clip popped off a pin that holds one of the shift rods or whatever in top, in front of the shifter. I didnt think I animalized it, and I didn't! Well, from the trans being loose on the engine the pilot bushing, throwout, and preassure plate were toast, so now my new clutch and Fidanza Flywheel go in, along with a hopefully less noisy trans that I had as a spare anyway. Good thing is I didnt have to pay for a tow, and it happend in a parking lot, so I only got stranded at work. Has goofy crap like this happenend to anyone else?

DOH! I hate it when it's something small like that. Well, good thing you have the new parts ready to go!

New, made by AP clutch disc doesnt fit, its right but made wrong, its .007 too small ID on the splines. Now that sucks! I guess the Germans (AP) and the Japanese STILL dont get along.
