Pageing the Z gods
You may remember, I had problems with my z turning over after is 13 year cacoon. I replaced the sending unit in the tank. Had the tank cleaned.
replaced the fuel pump. and confirmed fuel gets to the fuel rail. Replaced the fuel rail(dealer part $$$ ) replaced the fuel/air regulator. Fuel is getting to the injectors. I know the motor isnt dead because if i supply fuel through the intake it runs(rich obviously but it runs very smoothly)
So I cleaned the connections for the injectors. Im thinking the injectors are bad (all would have to be bad for this theory to hold water) or the ECM is shot.
Im in need of the Z gods help yet again.
Am i way off here ???

The odd's of all the injectors being bad are pretty slim. But after 13 years of sitting, it is definitely possible. Not sure if 79 came with a dropping resitor, but if it did then check that out as well. You can see if the injectors are firing by using noid light. Any autozone will loan you one of these. Also, the EFI relay can also be bad or not getting power. You still have a few options as to what could be wrong. The first thing I would do is get the noid light and verify if the injectors are firing or not. Then you can go from there. If they ARE getting a signal then you've got bad injectors on your hands.

But yes... old gas (over a year old) should be drained & replaced. Gasoline tends to gum up as it sits & when it evaporates, it leaves a white-ish powder.

So, I hired a mechanic to come by and check the noid light thing. It currently doesnt run. I can get it to run by forceing fuel in the intake but it won do it on its own.
So If i find the fuel injectors are good. I should look into a relay and possible ECM ?
