My 280ZX Turbo 1981 was working fine yesterday. I drove it about 40 miles but today it just would not start. It is not a battery issue, it wants to start but it seems like there is no spark. Can you please give me ideas.

 

Its your spark plugs, check them. Also, change your fuel pump. Also, change your starter. Also, change your cold start injector. Also change your Auxiliary Air Regulator. Also, change all your vacuum hoses. Problem solved guaranteed.

 

Wow wow, why don't we start testing things before changing things....

Pull one of the spark plugs off to see it's not getting spark. Then go from there.

but ya, pull the plug and see if its sparking. put the tip of it on a ground (i usually use the strut bolt) and with it plugged in to the wire have someone crank and see if the plug sparks.
