Re installed oil pump shaft correctly and now it won't start

My timing has been a big problem since i did my turbo swap. The car did run before but, very sluggish.I set the motor at tdc, then removed the oil pump shaft, put back in @ 11:25....Went to start her up and nothing.I have spark, fuel pressure is good. The engine wants to fire and just sputters out the tail pipe.

I pulled the plugs and they were soaked.Assuming that i 'm running richer then before.Anyone know what the problem might be?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you use the marks on the pump and shaft to align it? The 11:25 thing is ok to look at later but its more important that the oil pump was aligned in the first place.

Use some starting fluid in there after leting all six injectors dry out. (outside of the engine) If it doesn't fire at all then your timing is way off still. What does your timing light show? +20/24 deg?

You no what,i didn't align the two dots.I just eyed it out and it was at 11:25....The funny thing is that before i could remove the oil pump with no problem and now i would have to remove the sway bar to get the pump and spindle out.I got frustrated and eyed it out the best i could.

Well, finally getting back to working on the car again.Just need to no where the marking is on the oilpump only and do i still need to remove the sway bar.Only asking because before i didn't have to.Did that have something to do with the engine being at tdc???

Do you have a Haynes manual? This process is very detailed in that book. If you don't have one, I suggest going to your local parts store asap and buy one.

When you remove the pump, you will see the dots where the two shafts meet. Line them up.

Yah, it looks that way.The haynes manual is only $15.Not bad compared to what they want for the actual fsm.
