Is this for real?

This video may be posted around here, or maybe not...I just happened to come across it in one of my many youtube rabbit trails! Is there a way the car at the end is stock?

The "car" is far from stock. They are implying that the internals are "stock". If you look at the engine bay... there are A LOT of aftermarket parts.

Yea, I saw that...I just figured you'd have to actually get into the motor to get a 9 second car!

It's possible. The question is how long the motor will last.

Exactly and with L28's being a dime a dozen you could tune it and crank up the boost make some serious HP and who cares if you blow it up. I've heard of guys making 400 rwhp out of junk yard engines. A proper tune will get you a long way as well. I'd be willing to bet he's running methanol - you can put a LOT of advance back in with a methanol system. Last guy I was talking to put 18 degrees back in after installing a methanol injection system.
