Removing turbo boot

I'm looking into replacing the rubber turbo boot with some type of tubing.I'm running stock electronics.Anyone ever did this?And what type of piping did you use.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I gotta be honest... I bought an AutoZone ricer "cold air intake" aluminum pipe... because it's 3" diameter, has 2 vacuum ports, and came w/ a 3" to 2.5" rubber coupler.

This is what it looked like on my stock turbocharger:

too much red and too many hoses. its cluster ****ed in that shizzle!!!!! GAY! i cant wait till i get my stuff cleaned up at the end of this weekend so i can show how an engine bay should look. if i get that far. otherwise its half ways what an engine bay should look like. lol.

The 3" one that's in the first pic I posted. They only sell one or two of them... so go look at them.

I didn't see that one on the autozone site.I went to advanced auto and found this one.Is this the same as yours?

Yep... that's the one. But that website quotes $44! I got mine for $15.

Autozone does have the same one for$38.99....Talk about a price hike.You must of purchased yours sometime ago.

Stock is 2.5"
My T3/T4 hybrid is 3"

I ended up buying the pipe.Did you run the straight part of the pipe from the turbo on up.

The bent end connects to the turbo, then the long straight end runs up behind the left headlight. I had to chop down the length to fit the AFM & filter in.
