Ok. After my trip with the wife. i got right around 320 miles to the tank. and at 18gal tank cacl comes out to 17.7mpg. I am not happy with those numbers on a N/A engine. the only mods are cleaned up intake and 240SX T/B. all stock internals does not burn oil. runs great and smooth. And yes when cold you can smell the extra gas not burned. no fuel leaks anywhere. Will only hold Fuel PSI in system for about 2 hours before total 0. maybe leaky injector. Throttle Response is instant. and every so often it sputters like for a split second. enough to drop about 400 RPM. but very rare.

Besides above noted. 83-N/A 5 speed. R200 3:54. interstate around 80mph-3200RPM

lol I'm lucky if I get 16mpg, but that's around town...

How many miles are on the AFM? has it ever had the circuit board shifted so the arm is swinging on a clean part of the track?

I think i'll look into the AFM and the Vaccume leak. i think it might have one. the AFM had it's mobo cleaned about 3 years ago. then siliconed up(the cover) i'll pop it open and see how it looks.

i have a similar problem with my 79 n/a

i always end up getting the vacuum lines fall off the vacuum canister, that could well be it as at times i can see the fuel accumulate on the ground behind my car on a cold start
