Starter problem PLEASE HELP!!!

I recently swaped my 1980 280zx motor into my 1982 due to better body and the 1982 didnt run. everything is ready and hooked up and the starter doesn't work? wtf. battery is fully charged, fuel pump, gages, ect... all working. I went and had it tested, it works, and it worked when it came out with the 1980 motor. Any ideas

check to see if your cables and connections are clean and tight. Is it not doing anything at all? no clicking or spinning noises?

Have you gone out with a multimeter to see where there's power getting to the starter, if there is any? Just because the battery is good doesn't mean the power is going everywhere.
