Temp gauge suddenly not working

Hi Everyone,

I was working in the motor compartment changing some old fuel lines and then adjusting the timing...everything going smooth... The car is warm by now... I took a look at the gauges and the temperature gauge had no reading. I think a loose wire in the motor compartment but couldn't find any loose wires. Any suggestions.

Check your fuses, if that is good, check your temp sensor, and also the plug that goes into the front of the engine. I found out before when I was running my Z, and the temp was not working. I looked under the hood, and found a loose plug in front of the engine. Jiggled it around a bit, and the temp gauge worked again. Just had to secure it with another clip that goes around the plug itself. Hope this helps you out! And again glad to hear you got another Z, good luck to you!

Right on man glad I could help you out. Anyway that is a sweet Z bro'! Take care of it, and get a good decent alarm on it.
