Turn Signal Issue

Turn Signal Issue
My turn signals started flashing "fast" and I wonder if anyone out there can point me to the issue? The front and rear all flash on both sides and turn off properly but they are flashing very fast and it started all of a sudden. I replaced all of the bulbs but it is still doing the same thing?
I assume there is some sort of control unit or where it is or whether it can be replaced easily. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Usually that happens when either the front or rear bulb is out or one is unplugged.
The cheap flasher units are under the dash and can be replaced. They usually have two or three prongs on the end that plug into the wiring harness. The cylinder shaped unit is about 1 to 1.5 inches long.
You can buy the simple $3 flasher unit or upgrade to an electronic one for $10-13. I always go with the electronic ones. They have a steady flash time and last a whole lot longer.

Up under the steering wheel column. Some are a round can others are a square box but they all have three pins. The electronic ones also typically work with LEDs. If one of your bulbs burn out an electrical one won't flash faster like the old electro-mechanical ones do.

i think i found it,
round cylinder aluminum color thing, under the dash by the steering wheel column.
my turn signal flashes on the same bulb filament as the parking light.
