Ultra Copper test!!

Update!!
This is the second full day of hard driving on the Ultra Copper and there hasn't been so much as a peep from it. The color is slightly darker but it is still firm with no cracks or leaks. I bet you could use this stuff insted of head studs to hold the head on.....j/k. By this time, even the strongest stuff I used before had craks and chunks missing. I may be on to something here.

Update!!
Day number 5 and the Ultra Copper is acting like this is its purpose in life. No cracks, No leaks, No chunks missing. With only one stud and alot of Ultra Copper the leak remains sealed. I am very impressed!! Oh and it is not burning either. I think I can safely say that after 5 day with one stud and using Ultra Copper in this location of the exhaust that this is some good stuff. I definatley recomend using it and will continue to do so my self. I will update on day 10 and 30 if I still have the stock manifold on the car. Great Stuff!!

Well it has been 30 days..sort of but the ultra copper is STILL going strong without a hiccup. Still no leaking at all, no cracks or any missing pieces at all. Like I said this is some good stuff. Well I think we can put this to bed...this stuff works!

Well the Ultra copper finally gave out...I knew it would but man did it hang in there for a long time...over a month!!! It is still mostly sealed but I can see where it is leaking...I am gonna seal it up again.

Well the ultra copper is doing good with the gasket, holding much better than just the ultra copper by itself. My O2 hole is now plugged up, FOREVER! Now the car has a very minor exhaust leak but I can live with it till I get a header. After the hole was welded up I took it for a spin and man what a difference in the pedal. So here is a before and after shot...the weld was still pretty hot in the after shot you can see there are no threads left in the hole on the left...thats why I could not get the new O2 to thread in...but it is cool now and I will just keep the new O2 till I get the header...right WildMan
