Weird Reving Prob.
My 79 Has This Weird Reving Problem That Exists Only When The Engine Enters Its Normal Operating Temperature Mode. When Driving Only, It Will Rev To About 3000 Rpm. If I Stop The Car Or Go Under About 10kph It Stops Reving.has Anyone Encountered This Problem, Its Really Getting To Me!!

Yep You Got It, And Yeah That Is Strange Im Thinking Thermotime Switch, Speed Sensor, Air Flow, throttle Position, Something Like That, But Im Not Sure Because Ive Tried Testing All Of Them, And They Seem To Be Fine, Hence Me Asking The Forum.

When it is doing the REV thing, if you slap the throttle down and release, will that let the idle drop to normal?
I would first inspect all hoses and connections on and around the throttle body. A vaccume leak makes the most sense. I'm not going to try to guess how it is causing this, but reving usually means more air. More fuel would just bog the idle down.

If You Rev It While It Is Doing This It Just Continues Revving, All Of My Hoses Are Pretty New But Im Going To Try That It Makes Sense Except For The Fact It Doesnt Do It When It Is In Cold Run Mode. After Msd Sends Me A Wiring Diagram For My Car FOR AN 6a Ingnition Box I Will Be Able To Continue On The Hunt. Thanks Any Input Will Be Helpful

That is beacause usually when it is cold the engine is revving lower. Especially when your cold start valve does not work. I never could get either one of my Zx's to work. SO when they were cold they were hard to keep running, but once they warmed up they were fine. Usually within a few minutes.
