What is causing it to flood out???

Do you think that there is a possibility that it is running a bit rich all the time? It might be another sensor or the fuel pressure regulator holding too high of fuel pressure. then, under most driving the throttle position switch tells the computer to run a certiain amount of fuel. At WOT, that percentage jumps up at 20%. Patricla throttle might still run good, just rich, but maybe the WOT command from that switch is causing just too much fuel. I had a simular problem, and it was the fuel pressure regulator. Once that was replaced, everything ran much more lean and I had better power and better gas milage.
If that's not it then maybe the Air Flow Meter is improperly adjusted. Its probably not the throttle position switch itself.

Yeah, I believe that it's running kind of rich all the time. The exhaust fumes are enough to bring tears to your eyes when the car is idling. The spark plugs are also coated in carbon. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator about a year ago with an Autozone part when I had to replace the fuel pump. Even though the pressure regulator is relatively new, could it be the culprit? I really don't want to pay the dealership price for this part... Could you reccomend where I could get a decent pressure regulator for a reasonable price?
