Thanks!

It has always been more photogenic than it should be. Up close and in person it's a whole other car.

If you saw it right now, you'd cry.

It's been on the receiving end of a whole lot of sand paper lately

What's up Rod? It's a been awhile man haha! Is your Z going to the booth for a respray? Hopefully your Z hasn't gotten anymore battle scars like mine is getting. I hate parking lots, especially when you purposely park away from people only to get a scratch anyways.

Parking away only makes people want to park near you and intentionally hit your car...

No recent battle scars, mainly cuz it's only been out of my garage about 5 times since MSA 2007 and those were all trips to the car wash.

No more trips to "The Booth" if I can help it. I've spent WAY too much money having other people do $hi77y body work on this car already (only to have some moron hit and screw it up again and again).

Nope, this time... It's all me buddy!

Since it's been painted black THREE Times in the five years I've owned it, there's plenty of paint on there already. The biggest issues are a few cancer spots that reappeared (Obviously not properly removed/treated by the body shop) and the rear end damage from the last idiot who hit me (Thanks again for the tail lights! ) . And, some scrathes and little dings and stuff here and there.

I figured since I have:

A Garage.

A Butt-Ton of Tools.

And a sudden mid-life energy boost (thanks to my recent diagnosis of Adult ADD and a sweet script for Adderall ) ...

I can do the needed repairs myself and save a ton of dough as well as feel like I've accomplished something.

I was always afraid to do bodywork because I basically don't have the patience and fine motor skills, but WTF? Why not right?

I did all that mechanical work myself, might as well make it purdy too.

So, I've been going over one area at a time, removing dings, wet sanding, cutting out rust and filling holes... Even PAINTING!!! It's going very well but also very slow.

So, for anyone wondering why I've been so scarce around here for the last few months (Or if anyone else noticed), that's the biggest reason. I've been hiding in my garage. I've also been working on a lot of music projects and work has been pretty demanding lately. My company just went through it's second HUGE merger/aquisition in 13 months last week.

It's nice working for the 800 LB Gorilla

When I have some good progress pics, I'll post 'em up.

In the meantime, trust... You don't want to see it.
