Greetings! I am brand new to this forum, sorry, so please forgive any errors I may make! HOWEVER, I am the ORIGINAL proud owner of a jade grey, 1983 280ZX Turbo, T-top, leather seat, automatic vehicle with approx. 46K ORIGINAL miles, no winters, always stored. Mechanically sound, needs cosmetic work, but NO major issues and ALWAYS mechanically maintained.

I wish to have my "baby" RESTORED, but since I am no longer in my home state but now located in South Bend, Indiana, could someone please and kindly recommend a SUPER restorer to rid my baby of surface minor rust spots, knicks, dents, and have a total and complete restoration cosmetically? Poor car may also need new or replacement carpet. Existing carpet is not in "poor condition" (ie: holes, tears, rips, etc. but is Stained to the point of perhaps no return after all these years. I sincerely Want and NEED an HONEST, and Super cosmetic restorer, especially pertaining to painting, superficial rust removal, and cosmetic detail work. Any recommendations? Also, any idea as to end value once restoration has been completed? Or where should I look? I will most likely keep her, as she still talks to me, still functions, and still can outrun just about any other vehicle on the road, once her mind is set to do it! A bit slow on the uptake, but solid and sound mechanically. A wonderful vehicle I've had for over 20 years! Who can help?

BY THE WAY ~ anyone wishing, in the Rochester area of Upstate NY to restore a car ~ I STRONGLY and personally recommend DAVE BRENNAN in the Webster area near Lake Ontario. He is highly honorable and does a magnificent job! DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!
