260Z taillights on a 280zx?
Has anyone ever attempted to retro fit 260Z taillights on a 280zx?

You'd need to fab up a backing plate, or cut out and weld in the stock S30 tail light backing plate.

Before doing so, you could always use that trusty program called Photoshop to see how it would look.

Don't forget there are two different tail lights for the S130 ('79-81 and '82-83) as well.

I just been told that the 260Z/280Z lights have an overall width of 16.5 and height is 8.25 which is higher than the 7inch height of the 280zx.

Can someone confirm this?
