280 zx with heated mirrors??

Went to my hermit to look for a new head liner and mic parts. . . . We did our norm got a mystery box for a hundred bucks got home and opened it up. Found four inflator cans bunch of little do dads and 2 new in the box side mirrors. Printed on the glass is something on the lines of "electro defog" never heard of this. They are no doubt 280zx. Mirrors. . . . Has a wireing harness. Guy owned a datsun dealership and bought dealer stocks. Is this. A dealer option or wtf? Like to use them or sell. I got rid of the labtop and use a I phone can't post my pics on photo bucket lol or id post pics.

Standard with the GL package isn't it? I think every S130 I've had has had them...

There was a button between the mirror adjusters to turn them on. I've yet to find one with this option but it would be cool to have this time of year

Yea with the box came the wireing harness with no switch. . . There is extra wireing in the center consol on every z I owned. If it were standard gl every one would have them lol. . I'm thinking weird canada parts lol. Any one wants them hit me up they are silver new in the box.

I might have an extra switch for the heater. Tis true - we tend to get the more loaded versions here in Canada. LSD standard on my 370Z but it's an option in the states. I think the S13s frequently had the LSD here in Canada as well whereas it was only on certain models in the US. All of Canada is about the same population as California so we don't get the variety of options you get in the USA.

Just an FYI, we (humans) made it to the moon in 1969... the 280zx was made 10 years later. If we could fly to the moon, just think of all the things that could be done to automobiles.

Well yes for me here in the pittsburgh area . . . Well dastuns are as rare as seeing a deloran or bentley . So we have very tiny chances of finding one let alone finding one you don't fall threw. I grew up with rodchester quadrajet carbs. Gm throttle bodies and clunky domestics. Shame what datsun had in 1980 took till 1994 to have in american cars

Mine has the heated mirrors, and the switch is between the mirror adjustment toggles. It is a handy thing to have this time of year...

There's a Photobucket app for iPhone. You can upload pics w/ it.

If you're wanting to sell them... I could use the passenger side, but would buy both mirrors.
