280 Zx-r!

Hi all!

I came across this more or less recent topic in a Norwegian car forum: http://forum.200sx-ogn.org/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=44700

I had no idea there was one on Norwegian roads, the ZX-R has, to me, remained nothing but a wet dream, but that ZX-R proves otherwise, a car nut that I regularily chat with, even knows a guy that knows the ZX-R owner! Small world! Lot`s of people say the only thing thats different (And exquisite.) Are the decals and the whale-tail spoiler.. Not correct: A/C, Radio, etc, was non-existing, the car was seriously lightened, and the chassis was seam welded. I do not know how much the ZXR weighs, but that can not be much! If one were to rebuild the engine on one of those, I wonder what the following results against similar N/A ZX`s would be, on the track!

And thanks to that thread, I found out ZX`s in general were only sold in 3 examples here in Norway, I`m not sure whether that ZX-R is amongst them, but in that case it would make the ZX I`m thinking about one of only 2 ZX`s here in Norway, which means that I`d better haul *ss if I want one!

What a beauty... Wish they repro`ed those ZX-R whaletails!

If he`s gonna switch with a BMW V8 engine, what will happen to the original engine?

Aaah, there it is! I looked for the whaletail at zdriver, but never found the ZX-R type, but that one there looks like the correct type (Owh and S30 whale tails do fit onto S130`s, but I think the angle will be slightly off, as the rear curves on a S30 is steeper than those of a S130.)
