ok so this might be a dumb ??? but dose some 510 suspension parts fit the 280zx ??????

I think the other way around. The 280zx parts fit the 510. I know swaping the front struts are popular. Brakes, misc. items.

Sorta. The 280ZX usually gets rapped for the 510's lol. Front struts are a popular item. The 280ZX is very similar to the 510 suspension wise and the 810 (Maxima).

Let`s not forget the 5sp trans of the ZX. I`ve sold 3 of them to 510 owners.

Ya, if you want super small front brakes on your 280ZX you can run the 510 struts. Plus they are shorter struts so your Z will be lower in front.

Maybe you can do a rear drum brake swap onto a 280ZX as well! ...drop in an L16 and you're set

Lol I like that rear drum swap idea - I bet you could get a good deal on used 510 drum setups

i am totaly new to this as I am a 180sx rps13 / silvia ps13 owner threw & threw but i am just after getting me a 280zx and i have a question about coilovers... will my s13 coilovers fit the 280zx???

my plan is to run a 1jz gte i have a lot of 180sx parts put i think this 280zx is slowly turning into an addiction!!!

Welcome to the site. S13's will basically bolt into the rear (swap the top hat) and you need to mod the front spindle for the fronts. There are lots of write ups on how to do it here and on the other Z car forums.
