280zxt ecu plug?

I have this ECU that came out of my 1982 280ZXT and I was wondering what this hole/port thing did.
It looks like a vacuum line might hook up to it or something, but what do I know? ^^
ECU# A18-602 043
Photos of it below!

Thanks, Luke! (:

It doesn't do anything.

Click: XenonS130 - S130 Reference

Are you asking because you are curious, or because you have a problem?

An engine needs 3 things to start:
-Proper air
-Proper fuel
-Proper spark

So...
Does it have fuel pressure (at least 30psi)?
Does it have spark at all 6 cylinders?
Does the green LED light up in the ecu inspection hole (next to the hole you were questioning)?

I can't see the pictures - is it a barometric sensor to determine fuel trim for altitude?
