im about to buy a 280zx and wanted to know if the gold trim and gold honey comb rims are rare looked online try to find a car with that trim option but cant

 

Gold trim as in the strip that goes on the bottom above the rocker panels and across the doors? My car has that. It's very 80s haha. no Idea if it's really rare I think I've seen it before but most cars have silver if they have it.

 

By the way it would be a 79 model year.

Turbo snow flakes only came on the 81 1/2 turbo cars

 

Yea those are the wheels I have... mint condition. I've seen better wheels in my life but they are original so they stay on.
My 81 280zx has the Targa strip that goes right across the back of the roof as well. Not many zeds these day with that, I'm told.

 

The metal piece that goes across the roof seen quite a few of those don't think it's rare either.

 

The metal targa band is uncommon....

 

We've had so many "Is my 280zx rare?" questions lately, that it's not even rare to ask if my 280zx is rare...
