83 2+2 louver and digital clock
good morning
a few weeks ago i bought a 83 280zx 2+2 - pic attached
i need some advice on two things
i want to put a louver on the back window - i need a recommendation on the options available
the digital clock works and keeps time while i am driving but then loses the correct time when the car is off - can the clock be fixed - if so by whom - or is their a replacement available - and if so where
thanks

Welcome to ZDriver!
Have you checked the clock fuse? As for the louvers, just about everyone who has them, hates them. It's a good idea, but there are more cons than pros. They rattle, cause rust, and cut down on rear view. The two positives: hard for people to see what you have in your hatch, and cut down on sunlight heat... both of which are also done by window tint.

on the clock issue - does the clock have its own fuse - in the fuse box - or is their a fuse in the clock itself

Anyway the clock runs on a fuse with some other accs. Can't remember off the top of my head. And if that isn't it. Maybe somebody, for some stupid reason. Rewired the clock. I seriously doubt that, but you never know. Hope you get it figured out man.

Well I'm glad I checked this thread, to have my hopes and dreams dashed to peaces!
Well, not really.
But if louvers rattle, I will NOT get them.
Nice car, though I'm not big on the 2+2 models...but the T-Tops are bomb, I'd love them on my 1980 model.
