Pick up a can of compressed air and when you're done spraying it all down use the compressed air to spray inside all the connectors to get them dried out.

if you have a lot of grease use something called "gunk" it will clean it up real good. just make sure you cover up all the electronic stuff... I did that all i did was disconnect all the electronics and labeled them bundled it up, wrapped it in saran wrap and covered the dizzy with a plastic bag. then sprayed the gunk on it let it soak for about 10 mins or so then power washed it off... the bay is sooo cleacn you can literally eat off of it...

oh yeah and to clean out your engine and fuel system get a can of "Sea Foam" and put it in your gas tank and in your engine where you add the oil. let it run for about 10-15 mins at idle and that will clean out the"gunk" inside your engine as well. not to worry you might see blue exhaust come out but thats ok its just the sea foam..

yeah the acid is always good as long as you don't let it stay on the rubber hoses and what not... we don't need any melted rubber all over the bay... if you decide to use the acid dilute it well. and remember kids stay off of the acid... lol

It works really good when you need to etch a layer off your driveway. I dont know that I'd actually put in my engine bay with the engine still in there though
