Just spoke with a guy about a 280zx... it's an '82... kinda high miles but he is willing to come down from his asking price of $1,200. I am all over this!! It has tan interior but it is a slick-top 5-speed and still has the sprayer for the rear window wiper. And the little lady still talks

What do you all think? Go for it??

Looks good!!! $1200 is a decent price... but I would always try to bargain.

Both fenders have been bent... probably due to improper jack placement.

Also, what's up with all the black crap on the wheels?

I would go for it, but haggle a little. All aside, a slicktop is rarer in an '82 and '83. I love my '82 slicktop!

Yeah, I am not going to work today, gonna go test drive this car. The black stuff on the wheels is either brake dust or paint from a shoddy paint job on the rims. I am not to worried about the fenders from the jacking the car improperly... if I can't get them to pull out, the fenders don't cost that much from BD. As long as it shifts good, the engine runs and the car doesn't leak water all inside it then it's a great starting point again.
