Anybody else have a lot of pebbles hit there ZX?

I ive had my 280ZX for a couple months now, and the hood is rittled with dings in the paint where rocks and pebbles hit them and ive had more rocks hit my hood and windshield then any other car ive ridden in. My theory is that the aerodynamics were inadvertently designed to scoop up rocks on the highway and bash the hood and windshield causing annoying blemishes, has anybody else noticed a higher then average amount of rocks hit there 280ZX? or is my Z just cursed lol

I know your pain. Shortly after doing all the body work and paint I went on a local Z cruise and the front bumper, hood and windshield took a beating. I've had pebbles jump up on to the hood, dance a few times up the hood, do a little boogie on the cowl then jump ship. Its frustrating and funny at the same time...

The same day I got a brand new $200 windshield put in, a truck had picked up a large rock and tossed it right at my Z. Thankfully it missed the window put it nearly took off my passenger side mirror

Just put an SUV bug reflector on your Z hood.

My NA looks like it went through a meteor swarm. If you're concerned about it get a clear bra on the whole hood - makes a huge difference.

I've had the clear bra on my 370Z for two years and usually have to show people where the clear bra is. Most people don't even know it's on....
