Here it is, an F-40 wing for a 280zx. And pretty cheap. Anybody that has been looking for one. Should take advantage of this. Good luck to whoever tries to get it.

Right on. Would like one but, do they make the hatch not beable to open??? Or does the hatch clear the wing???

 

^ It clears, the wing mounts on the edges of the hatch. Not on the body itself. As for the hatch staying open. 300zx supports will work. I made a thread about that. And as soon as I get them. And they mount correctly. I will post there, and tell everybody that they work.

I have the same wing myself. And it looks great on the 280zx. It is a steal for what it is going for. Good luck if you try and get it.

 

Ohhhh ok cool I thought that it would mount on the body. Can you tell by looking at the one on ebay if its the f40 for a coupe or the 2+2?? I have a coupe aswell I like the look of the f40 and the 30 anv.. body kit havent really found a good pic of the rear arm damn tho.

 

I am sure it will fit the coupe and 2 + 2. So that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck on the auction.

 

Damn I missed out its already ended....And I agree with you Wildman I’ve gotten pretty tired of the negative comments of ignorance , that at the same time don’t offer any technical advice or seem like they don’t have any in the first place. If you come across another one let me know thanks bro.

Yes, and I feel bad about making that thread. But, I wasn't being negative to somebody on this site. And also when I made that thread. My head was a mess, lots going on. I am a little better now. And if you want to delete, be my guest. But it doesn't change my dislike for dropped or slammed vehicles.

All aside, I am mainly talking about the ignorance some people have on here. I try to keep my negative comments to myself. But sometimes, somebody just asks for it.

I try to help people if and when I can. Like me spending almost a half hour. helping fast240z, with his timing cover issue. By giving him a writeup, from my recent experience with my Z.

Hey evandubya, and Wildman Could you guys take some close up pic’s for me. Both of the base, and where that wing mounts to the hatch. Possibly the over all dimensions and angle of the wing. I’m curious if and f40 wing for a 300zx or some other model would be close to fitting right maybe with a lil customizing. Thank guys would greatly appreciate it.
