woah, 2.2L? That's way too powerful of an engine. E doesn't even want a Datsun truck with a super powerful L16 to be in the competition. 1.5L and under only...
That even rules out my non-running L20 in the Fairlady if I still had my riding lawnmower I could enter that in the race.

well im in this race. i got a 85 yota tercel wagon. 1.5L of fury, ive had it up to and slightly over 140kph!!! all within 2 minutes! or if it went to 1.8L i could enter the 75 datsun 620!! that thing would spoil the race tho, its surprizingly quick.

The B210 is now home. What a trip too. . .little thing ran great all the way. Cept for the thick plumes of smog the it was puking at every stop she ran like a top. Did good on the freeway too. So the tear down begins. Now if i can only get my damn SD card reader working i could load some pics.

Dude!

My best friend in High School had this identical car!

We used to do doughnuts in the school parking lot with it until we could no longer see through the smoke.

Once, he even peeled the right rear tire off of the wheel!!!! It was awesome.

Have fun and remember... RESPECT THE POWER.

This should be a fun project. Im currently looking for an SR or KA that hasnt been too badly beat on. After i get one installed and running the bumpers and wheels will get tossed in favor of a set of 1st gen 240Z bumpers and 82 ZX 5 stars. Might even swap out the SRA in favor of a Frontier SRA . . . .

Looks like it's in mighty nice condition. That would be pretty cool to get a decent engine in and take around town.

So after a little reading up it looks to be that the L20b series motor out of a 510 is a perfect canidate for these little things, given i use the Xmember from it as well. Should bolt right up? So if that all goes well that means i can use the 5spd tranny from a 280 and then use a SRA out of a 200sx which would have disc brakes. . . .i know, getting ahead of myself. Its a little beater. But damn, i cant help but get juiced about this project and knowing that all this is attainable from my local pick'n pull for less than 500 bucks? Maybe i should just ditch the Z . . . .

Just playin. I would never get rid of the Z
or would i?

Those 910bluebird.com have done every nissan 4 cylinder.

If you really want to be unique (at least in the us) how about a fj20?

pics don't link properly

using a 280zx tranny depends on the original transmission length. Does it match the L-series tranny length? and is it the short tail or long tail version?

280z/ZX is long tail
