Thanks guys, yeah it was a lot of work, but worth it. And thxone, I have contemplated on cutting the glovebox. But the thought of doing that to it, hurts to think about it. To desecrate an original interior piece. I think I would much rather make something custom, than destroy an original glovebox. Sorry everybody, I am a purist at heart, that is my nature.

As for the color match of my interior, that is mainly why I wanted that changer. And the fact it had the FM modulator, which alone is $75 ouch! And I paid $47 for everything. Anyway thanks guys for the compliments, means a lot to me. You all keep me going strong, and that is what I like about this great place. ROCK ON!

The thought had crossed my mind too about not hacking up mine...so I didn't, I found another factory insert and used it. I am going to look for a factory radio in the future just to have so if I want it all to go back to stock it can. Did you get my PM Wildman?

Yeah I got the PM, but it doesn't make sense to me. How does it work?

Well first you click the link I sent you, it is a direct download of the font file. If you download it to your desktop it will make it easier. It is a very small file. Once you have the file it will look like a piece of paper with two T's on it. You then navigate to your font folder: goto "start menu" or "My Computer" then your main hard drive usually "C" and double click it, goto your "windows" folder and scroll to your "font" folder, drag that file from your desktop to the font folder then just close your open windows. Now anytime you want to use that font in say like yahoo or MSN messenger, Adobe PhotoShop, Word or any program that uses fonts from your computer you can....Check out the pic...

Okay I am still not understanding all of this. I did what you said, but it is the same white background with a bunch of letters and number in it. I am illiterate when it comes to this type of stuff. You might want to give me some lessons and or pointers on all of this. Because I have no clue how to use this program. I am totally lost man, sorry.

Sounds like you double clicked it...thats ok you can scroll through that just to see what the font looks like. To put it in the computer you don't double click it, just drop it in that folder. Do you have any programs like Photoshop or Microsoft office?

Allright I figured I would put it here. Since it is somewhat part of the stereo. This is a pic of my repainted custom stock faceplate. It is a metallic cobalt blue. And it has kind of an ice-blue effect to it. Check it out.

I Just did away with my radio part of the dash. Some carpet, and make somthing to cover up the blower unit make it cleaner inside. And since my heat and air don't work, I took out the controls. and put the radio there. Fit's perfect. Looks Great. I'll snap a pic of it today. and link it here.

thxone and I did this install together, it consists of two Audiobahn special edition 12's, a Power Acoustik 820 watt amp, a custom made stainless steel mounting plate for the Pioneer head unit, an old but kick *** stinger 1 farad capacitor, a pair of JBL 2 ways in the back, a pair of MA audio 2 ways in the dash, a lot of rewiring and a ton of patiance and time . It aint pretty right now do to a lack of carpet causing exposed wiring but lots of sound piping out of that Datsun .
