That dude looks like he should be driving a full size 1985 chevy cargo van with magnets that say "free candy" on the side.

hehe

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Mr. Mustachio doing what can only now be referred to as "the Starsky Camera Stare" made popular by the always funny Ben Stiller.

Sweet car in its time. What was the list price on that? 4100? there abouts?

dang, someone doesn't know their older Zs. I would never mistake a Z32 for a 'mid 80s' car.

ya, wasn't the original about $3900? Then they jacked the price up once they realized how popular and underproduced they were.

I like that dealership. Rising Sun Datsun

Original 240Z price was about $3600! nice...
the 510 of the same year was $1900

I'm just saying that if I saw an ad for a Z32, I wouldn't be thinking its a 1984 Z-car.

I wonder what that $3600 would be in today's dollars. It would be interesting to see how much a bargain the 240 truly was....

WOW.....thats about what I thought....definitely a BARGAIN. Heres a car that had the style and performance to match the best sports cars in the world ie Jaguar, Porsche, etc. Can you imagine getting a comparable car today for $19,000?

.....and I thought the SRT-4 was a bargain at $23,000

i have. i'll keep the z32 thanks . z31 was fine for transportation, plenty comfortable, but (at least the one i had) was not much of a sports car. 350 is kinda ugly and uncomfortable to sit in.

I was just kidding! Didn't mean to start a flaming war between Z32 and Z33 owners. I actually like all the generations of Zs, including the Z32.

i know your kidding, but face it.... other than the Z31 the Z33 is a pretty poor excuse for a Z. its just not very impressive imo. i want a turbo option or an inline motor and ill be happy.

even with a turbo option, your 260Z is a 180hp car. The only reason its light is that it has no safety at all. You sound just like a lot of old men who say the S30 is the only real Z and all other Z's suck. you make me cry

I want to be like SportBikeMike and have a 1970 Z and a 2006 Z (but no bike, I dont like them)

how do i sound like the old guys that say the s30 is the only true Z? i keep saying how the Z32 is my favorite Z and its probably the Z thats furthest away from the originial. its just an amazing car thats why i like it, not cause i has a Z emblem on the steering wheel. id like to have my S30 a TTZ32 and a R6. and like, some daily driver i can work on.

snw i would not say a z31 is a poor excuse for a z. the turbo vg motor has more potential then a turbo inline.
