Carbon Canister Q's

Ok well I'm a little curios of the point of it. So I have a few questions

What is it even for?

What happens if the filter on the bottom of it is totally clogged?

Can I safely Delete it from the Car?

I really have no clue what it is for. Taking a random guess it has something to do with... Emissions?

Yep... it's for emissions. You can delete it, but I would advise to do something w/ the fuel tank vent valve.

Put in cotton swabs to replace the filter. Worked fine on my '81 280zx before. It is not quite the same material. But it seemed to do the trick for me. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Not much. I doubt it's "totally" clogged unless it's been melted into a hard plastic disc.

Yep. And you don't have emissions check in Vernal right?

Ah! alright Thank you!

And no I dont have emissions at all. and I take it its the fuel vapors from the gas tank? That seems a little important if I dont want to blow up... I think...
