Hey ladies & gents: I was wondering if you can change a digtnal speedo to a analog for a 1983 zx turbo: Was driving bk fom sister house keeping up w/ a BMW and he hit 85 and i did to and hell that all my speedo said and so he push it i push it so i know i was going at least 105 but would like to see the number in front of me. Do i have to change any connectors or will it mount right in there w/o doing anything. I can get a 160 speedo and tach gas and temp unit on the panel>

 

Im not sure but I think you need the entire harness from the anolog unit. I think it has been discussed before so Im sure youll find it by searching. And were are you getting a 160mph speedo?

 

You can do the Digital to Analog swap... but only the 79 280zx speedo had the 130mph speedo... all the rest were 85mph... which will benefit you very little.......

To do the swap, you need the entire analog cluster, analog dash wiring, and analog coolant temp sensor. It takes several hours (more like 8-10 if it's your first time) to do the swap. Like KTM said... there are previous threads talking about the swap. Feel free to use the "search" feature. Wahoo!!!
