Custome Speaker Box'es/Panles. I have seen them on Zcarpart's .com. But they don't make them for 2+2 models. Forgive the picture, It's paint, but also quick and dirty. Black lines are Stock 280ZX

Red circules are 6x9's
Since i am going to a full size spare, i won't be able to use the stock spare tire comparment. I am gona raise the floor of my car(rear) and make flat compartments from the raise(green lines). Orange lines will be a slight slant downward to become level with origanal hight of rear floor. My rear seat's are gone have pading and carpet on the back of them, and alway's folded down, I am gona make it so it seams there is no rear seat, but when needed they pop out of no where. If you have custom box or panle pic's, feel free to post, i would like to see them.

Why on earth would you go to a full size spare?

 

I don't have Z's in front of me @ the moment... but isn't the rear deck area the same for 2seaters & 2+2's? Are you talking about the rear "tail light" panel speaker boxes that MSA makes?

 

I think its similar to the MSA box but his includes 2 more 6x9 speakers and encloses the entire hatch area making it seamless from shock tower to shock tower. Correct?

 

Yes apollo, Seamless from Shock tower all the way around past the tail light's to the other shock tower. and raise the flor up a few inches for a small storage bin, of coruse it to would be seamless, and would aper to not even be there. I have seen the 6x9 boxes that cover the rear tail light's but when i got the car, it had no cover panels back there, so all i see is the iner's of body.the shock tower cover is there, but nothin from there back. so i have been thinking of a way to make it look nicer, this is my top idea. I want a full size spare cause i hate doughnut's. and i got my hands on a 5th matching rim in damn good condition. I posted to see what you guy's would think, and if you guy's had any idea's that could be added, or just thrown out into the blue.
