Oh how I can relate man. My problem started in 1993 and I was on probation till 1995 when I violated by moving out of state...the thing is I had no choice, I had no place to live. I talked to my probation officer looking for help and he might as well have spit on me, he told me it was not his problem. I moved away for 6 years and when I came back I had to goto jail...that sucked. It is all cleared up now, but I have a record. The one thing to know here is there is no statute of limitations in any state for violating probation and in most states it is only a misdamener to violate but it is added as another charge.
Also most states will not extradite for a V.O.P as it is a misdamener. But it is better to face justice then to be on the run for so long like I was. Oh and my 82' is still my daily driver...lol
