Did I buy the devil Z?

Well.... Driving the 280ZXT I just bought home. I managed to get a photo radar ticket when driving 40mph in a 35... The car's top speed was 40mph because of the poor engine performance... lol

Tonight after getting the car running right, I was driving it on a somewhat larger street to make sure it would shift and driver properly, and boost.

It did. I was caught doing 63 in a 40.... When pulled over I was told my license was suspended when I was never even so much as notified.

So, off to jail.

After an hour and them finding out that I am not a criminal they let me go with a criminal speed ticket.

Man... I have to take the engine out of this car fast. Turning out to be bad luck. hahaah

It's not the devil z unless you found it in a junkyard and it's killed its previous owners.

Been there (minus the jail time...). I've probably paved a square mile with all my ticket fines. But I've learned my lesson and haven't had a ticket in almost 3 years now.

Military ID. No Muffler? No inspection? No Insurance? Millitary ID has got you Coverd. Get yours now at your local US Army recuruting station. Mention PFC Thompson so i'll recive 2K for your head. (US Army and PFC Thompson registerd trade marks of the US Goverment)

The real Devil Z is a Fairlady S30 RHD and blue. Your Z is just bad luck.

How do you get a photo ticket for doing 5 over? Those things are set at 11 or more over. Anyway just don't pay the photo ticket. A judge threw 300-400 out in since December. Right here in the Phoenix area. Don't let those small things keep you from finishing your Turbo setup. I sure wish I could afford to get my Turbo Z started. Good luck to you man.

I got this 280ZXT to earn money. lol...

I figure after I sell the odds and ends I won't use, along with things like monza header, Triple Weber setup, mallory dual point dizzy, and other hard to get stuff, I will more than pay for the engine swap.

Couldn't pass it up at $600.

Yeah, it's not the devil Z. That's what I am wanting to kinda build with my S30 though. haha

I don't blame the car either. Been a while since I have been pulled over, and I should have kept it off a min street. I just didn't want to go fast on a small road. I was about 50 yards from reservation land too. Bad luck, mixed with a poor choice is gong to cost me.

No worries. I did not pay my last ticket with photo radar. It only sticks if the legally serve you with it. Even then they are easy to get out of. My friend following the car on the slow ride home got flashed by the same camera and confirmed we were doing 5 over. I don't know why it flashed, but it was a van parked behind bushes.

Need to work on my lean running condition, and I plan to swap withen a week. I will take plenty of snap shots for you photo ******.

i've seen lots of flashes at stoplights and from passing cop cars and stuff and i've never gotten a ticket. i think some mechanisms flash every plate to check the stickers or something. i'll know soon! well, in a few years. my new plan is to be a VA state cop. well, not new, but freshly adopted plan.

Is there a special diet to becoming a pig? lol

Good luck with that. I have thought about it myself.
Although I keep a folder full of legal documents, and it's 90% tickets.

My name is Justin, and I am also a speedaholic...

I think most of us are, or we would spend our time working a making a volvo safer instead of a Z faster.

I have even been keeping my racing to the track. I was trying so hard to be a "good boy". hahaha

They are saying that less than 1/3 of the photo radar tickets in, and around Phoenix are being payed. Pinal county is talking about removing all of their cameras.

or work on making a honda civic faster with a huge wing, unpainted body kit, 4" exhaust tip, autometer gauges, racing seats, huge rims to show off our rear drums, etc.

Anyway I'm planning to do the same stuff to an S30. Originally I wanted to restore the 280ZXT, but in the end I decided to go the S30 route and be a follower. Have the best of both worlds the L28ET in an older S30 and the more comfortable yet still pretty quick Z31 Turbo.

Just makes sense. Put the powerful engine in the light car. Not the other way around. Manufacturers have it all backwards today. haha

That and cars are getting heavier, not lighter.

im not speed racer but i do sucumb to peer pressure every time one of my friends passes me on the intro states... iv had to go past 100 at least 5 times this week... i need a restrictor plate... and a nascar sticker...

oh and if your worried about getting a speeding ticket in GA dont worry, one of my friend got pulled over going 140 and the cop gave him a ticket for going 80 in a 70, GSP sucks a keeping the roads safe but they rock at the parties!!!!!

dont you guys have the cop wannabes in the vans that arent really cops in that state?

i mean they probally pull the trigger at every car a smidgen over the posted speed because theyre privatly owned dick weeds with no sence of right and wrong and no formal training.

Yeah. AZ also does not require a degree of any kind to be a cop.
One more reason I want out of AZ. If it were not for friends, and family, I would be gone already.

You'd figure the "devil Z" would be RED since when talking about devil, H3LL,Flames etc etc the color RED comes to mind wonder where blue came from ? ....
