Dieelectric Grease and my Electrical Connectors

I was wondering, if I put dieelectric grease into the connectors, like the part where the prong plugs into the other connector, would that cause a problem? Am I supposed to only put the grease around the prongs and stuff just to protect them?

Won't cause any probs... it's a good water-proofer.

Just make sure those connections are clean...but yes the grease is meant to go into the connection.
