ECU swap
Ok well I'm just gettin back in to classic imports again, this Friday I'm pickin up a 83 280zx n/a five speed. I was told that the ecu is fried hence why its not runnin. Its has the a11-652-805 now I've been lokin around and they seem kinda odd ball to come by so do I have to use the exact ecu or could I use one of the other years and/or diffrent numbered ecu? I search for alittle bit but didn't come up with much, if anyone has a workin one and wants to sell that would work for me as well. Seems a lot more relaxed here then most of the other car forums that I've had to deal with in the past few years.
Thanks for your time.

So yesterday the new ecu I got off ebay came in, I was pumped to get to the car plug it in and turn the keyand the battery died so I got a jump and hoped it would fire up but I got nothing the fuel pump came on primed for its 5 second and everything looked like it was good and it just cranked nothing, left it kinda on a down note. So I went back tonight with a can of carb cleaner and she chuged for a second or two and screamed to life haven't been so pumped to hear a car start since I got my rx-7 when I was 17 and I haven't been so pumped to drive since that one. Sorry for the long post but ill be around and taking a lot of pictures when I start ripping in to it, thanks for the help on the ecu.
