EGR ???? and head ????????

SO I CUT MY EGR PIPEING and iam going to cap it off and was wondering if there is anything eles i should DO......... iam going to have to find a cap for the header EGR OUT and for the EGR IN ON THE intake ......... IT SAYS I HAVE A P-79 head and what looks like flat top pistons is that the norm for an 81 zx i thought only turbo motors had flat top pistons with that set up will i be running the 145 hp or the 135 hp............ there seems to be some issue on this though out the posts and i not sure whats right and whats tight so hit me up

also how do i tell what rearend and trany i have on my car

You obviously did not read my post in the other EGR thread... you should do that before going forward. If you insist on capping it off however... Just remove the fittings at each end and put a dime in the base of the fitting, and screw the fitting back on... sealed for all eternity.

1981 should have a P79 with flat tops just like 82 and 83. That is the 145hp motor.
You should be running an R200 3.54 (because of the auto transmission)

1981-83 manual transmission cars have a 3.9 rear

3.54 IS THAT WHY IT FELT A LITTLE SLOW OFF THE START COME PAIRED TO THE 2+2

Unless it's a Turbo, it should have a 3.545 R180.
